I’ve tried to avoid this topic, but this is the day in age we find ourselves in. I’m sure there will be haters after I hit “publish”, but I have to stand before ONE and One only at the end of this life to give account for how I lived my life with the time I’ve been given.

Rather than repenting of our SIN, we are living in a country that whole-heartedly embraces it and flaunts it in the face of our Creator. Those of us who know and trust in Jesus Christ should be brokenhearted over today’s headline: Supreme Court Ruling Legalizes Same Sex Marriage Nationwide.
America sealed its fate today, and that’s really, REALLY bad news.
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Jude 1:7 (KJV)
Peter also echos this truth…
And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly. 2 Peter 2:6 (KJV)
It seems that many Christians today don’t really know what God’s Word has to say about homosexual sin, so much so that they are a waffling mess. I urge you to read the Book, beloved!
Then, there’s all of the “closet Christians” out there who know the truth, but are too afraid to take a stand for God. If that’s you today, I encourage you to pray for the strength and the courage to stand tall in God’s truth. It may be difficult in this life in the here and now, but, dear friends, we need to live our life for eternity.
He is coming, beloved. Will you be ready?
Did you point people to Jesus? Did you tell them the truth?
Did you tell them that Christ died for them and came to set them free from their captivity?
Did you tell them that He was scourged and beaten and poured out his precious blood to atone for their sin?
Did you tell them that no matter who they are or what they’ve done that they can still receive forgiveness of sin and a new lease on life in Jesus Christ?
That they may stand before a Holy God white as the purest snow?
Did you tell them about eternity?
How long of a period of time it really is…
OR, did you tell them to keep on doing what they’re doing? Did you tell them to just keep on living for themselves?
Did you tell them that if they don’t accept Christ to take their place and bear the cost of their sin, that they, themselves, will have to bear the cost of their own sins. Do you know what the cost of bearing your own sins is?
HELL. Yeah, Hell. Literal, physical, Lake of Fire Hell.
Why on earth wouldn’t you tell someone that Christ will stand in their place and take their punishment? If only they will believe on Him and confess they are sinners needing a Savior.
Praise Jesus that he took my punishment and that my sins are forever washed away. They are remembered no more.
OR will you hide them from the truth…
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. This earthly life is but a breath compared to the billions upon billions upon billions of years we will either spend in the eternal glory of God Almighty or in the utter darkness and flames of fire in Hell.
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 10:33 (KJV)
It baffles me that so many self-professed “Christians” are so willing to just stand by and watch people go to Hell.
It gives a whole new meaning to “the harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few.” (Matthew 9:37) It must grieve God greatly to see such a huge harvest of the lost going to Hell everyday while His Bride, the Church, sits idly by, saying and doing nothing about it, and, even worse, encouraging the very sin that separates them from God and salvation.
Sin is still sin, and if homosexual sin happens to be your particular sin, please know that you are not beyond the healing power of the blood of Jesus Christ. No sin is too great for our Savior to forgive, but you must recognize it for what it is, confess it and repent of it before the Holy God of heaven and earth.
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25 (KJV)
It seemed inevitable with the wicked direction our country was headed, but today’s Supreme Court ruling making gay marriage the law of the land should grieve every American Christian. We should be on our faces before the Lord pleading for mercy because judgement IS coming.
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. Psalm 9:17 (KJV)
No other nation has survived embracing this kind of wickedness without mass destruction befalling them. If you’re not awake yet today, it’s time you should be because it seems crystal clear that even the endless masses of those who profess to be followers of Jesus Christ have NO CLUE just how serious God takes his promises and his call to repent of our sins. If someone tells you that it isn’t sin, they are incredibly WRONG, and if that lie goes unconfessed, then they will have to explain it to a Holy God at the Judgement Seat of Christ. You won’t lose your salvation (you CANNOT lose your salvation once truly saved), but you can lose rewards in eternity. If you attend a church that embraces same sex marriage, you need to flee from it! It is an apostate (fallen) church, and God WILL deal with it.
How we live our lives really does matter, beloved.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;” 2 Corinthians 5:10,11a (KJV)
According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. But what specifically does the Bible say about homosexual sin? Well, it says “For this cause…”
“For what cause?” you say.
For changing the truth of God into a lie, He has turned them over to the lusts of their heart by which they dishonour their bodies.
For this cause…because certain people that have turned away from God, He has turned them over to homosexual sin. In other words, when people reject God long enough and embrace the things of the world over the things of God, He will turn you over to whatever sin you desire. If your desire happens to be towards homosexual sin, then you can see where the root of the problem is.
An even more powerful reminder is the fact that God has revealed himself to this world, and He has given us all the instruction that we need for godly living. Therefore, we are without excuse! It’s just plain and simple pointless to try to justify sin to a Holy God. There is no excuse for it, so the only option is to confess it to the Lord and seek His Word to help you repent of it.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Romans 1:20 (KJV)
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

The same thing happens with other sins as well. When we reject God long enough, He eventually turns us over the sinful desires of our heart. You want it? All right, then, you can have it. BUT, the problem is that sin leads to death.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 (KJV)
But praise God that he has made a way for us to be redeemed of that sin! He has made a way for us to receive forgiveness of sins by the blood of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 (KJV)
No matter where you are at today, Jesus Christ can save you to the very uttermost! You can be saved today!
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Being a Christian is HARD, beloved, especially in the days we are living in, but the stakes are unfathomably high…the stakes are ETERNAL.
For those of us fighting the good fight of faith, let us take comfort in the fact that we are getting closer and closer to Rapture of the Saints!
